The SHACMAN F3000 20 m³ water tanker truck is a 6×4 water bowser that carries 20,000 litres and is powered by a 340 hp Weichai WP10 engine. It sprays water four ways: a front flush bar, rear spray nozzles, side sprinklers and a rotating water cannon on the rear platform. A double-layer frame, MAN-technology axles with differential locks and a choice of Euro III to Euro V emissions make it a good fit for mining haul roads, large construction sites and city road washing in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Why a SHACMAN 6×4 Chassis for a 20,000-Litre Tank

Twenty tonnes of water is a heavy, moving load. Three parts of this chassis are built for it:

• Double-layer frame. The 850 × 300 mm frame has an 8 mm main rail plus a 7 mm inner reinforcement, so it resists bending and cracking on rough roads.
• Double-reduction rear axles with diff locks. The MAN-technology rear axles reduce gear speed twice, giving strong pulling power at low speed. Inter-wheel and inter-axle differential locks help the truck get out of mud and loose gravel on mine and construction roads.
• 340 hp Weichai engine. The WP10 delivers 1,250 N·m of torque, enough to climb site ramps fully loaded. Weichai parts and service are widely available in Africa and Southeast Asia. You can choose Euro III, IV or V to match the emission rules in your country.

Tank Design

The 20 m³ tank is made from Q235 carbon steel, 6 mm thick. Internal anti-surge baffles split the water into sections, so the load does not slam forward when the driver brakes or turns. The tank is e-coated (electrophoresis) against rust. A water level gauge on the front head shows how much water is left, and a rear ladder and top guard rail give safe access to the manhole.

Four Ways to Spray Water

Front flush

Adjustable duckbill nozzles under the front bumper wash the road and keep dust down ahead of the truck.

Rear spray

Duckbill nozzles at the rear spray a wide fan of water for dust suppression, road cooling and road maintenance, covering at least 8 m.

Side sprinklers

Sprinklers along the tank water roadside planting and green belts, covering a width of at least 14 m.

Rotating water cannon

The cannon on the rear platform turns 360° and reaches 28 m or more. You can switch between a straight jet, rain and mist patterns to water trees, wash walls or settle dust over a wide area.

Controls and Safety

• Manual valves are standard; pneumatic or electric in-cab control is optional.
• Water pressure gauge and water level gauge; low-water alarm optional.
• Rear work platform with anti-slip floor, guard rails and ladder, plus a top walkway rail along the tank.
• LED arrow lights on the rear of the tank and reflective side guards to warn traffic.
• 65 mm hydrant inlet, two suction hoses, ball valves, a gravity-flow valve and a filter, so the truck can fill from a hydrant, river or pond. Longer 3 m or 5 m hoses are available.
